Ohio's only national park, protecting 33,000 acres of the Cuyahoga River valley between Cleveland and Akron. The Towpath Trail follows the historic Ohio & Erie Canal for 20+ miles — perfect for biking and running. Brandywine Falls (65 ft) and Blue Hen Falls are must-see stops. The park hosts the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad, Hale Farm & Village, and the Stanford Hostel. Rich wildlife includes bald eagles, great blue herons, and white-tailed deer. Open year-round with cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in winter.
