Fairfield County Covered Bridge Driving Tour

A self-guided driving tour past Fairfield County's 17 original covered bridges — the most of any county in Ohio. Five bridges are owned by the Park District: Rock Mill (1901), George Hutchins (1865), Johnson, Hannaway, and Mary Ruffner (1875). The tour winds through rolling farmland, wooded hollows, and small towns. Budget 2-3 hours to see all five park bridges, or a full day to find all 17.
