Maumee Bay State Park

A Lake Erie destination park near Toledo with a unique mix of beach, marsh, and meadow habitats. The Boardwalk Trail is one of Ohio's best birding walks, especially during spring migration (April-May) when warblers flood the area. The park has a lodge with indoor/outdoor pools, golf course, and nature center. Lake Erie fishing for walleye and perch. The beach is a mix of sand and pebble. Located near the Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge and Magee Marsh — forming the 'Warbler Capital of the World' corridor.
