Mosquito Lake State Park

Northeast Ohio's largest inland lake (7,850 acres) in Trumbull County. Despite the name, it's named after Mosquito Creek, not the insect. Excellent walleye fishery — one of the best in inland Ohio. Also produces quality crappie, bass, and channel catfish. The lake has a full-service marina, multiple boat ramps, and a swimming beach. Eagle watching is popular in winter when bald eagles congregate near open water. The park connects to 8,000 acres of wildlife area for hunting.
