Wagner Preserve Birding

Home to the largest great blue heron rookery south of the Lake Erie watershed. This 160-acre preserve along Walnut Creek supports 30+ fish species and 12+ freshwater mussel varieties. Giant sycamores line the creek banks. Best visited in spring and early summer when the herons are nesting and raising young.
